SFD Responds to Two Car MVA with a Spill

On Wednesday, September 19th at 12005 hours, the Seaford Fire Department responded to a two car MVA on Merrick Rd. in front of Allied Building Supply. The SFD responded with one ambulance (684), one heavy rescue (687), fire police (686) and two Chiefs (6800 & 6802). A car attempting to make a left hand turn on to Hampton Ave. when it was struck in the back by a westbound pick-up truck. One person sustained minor injuries but did not need to be transported to the hospital. The crew from 687 secured the car and handled the spill of oil and anti-freeze.
