New EMT’s
The Chiefs office would like to congratulate Firemedics Scott Lindros and Harry Silverman and Firefighters Steven Nicola, Phil Bizzaro, Chris McElroy and Matt Spinola for recently completing and passing their NYS Emergency Medical Technician class (Firemedic Mario Burgio completed the class a few months ago). The class lasted nearly 9 months and was held two evenings a week. These new EMT’s further enhance the Seaford Fire Department’s ability to provide outstanding medical care to its’ residents. Currently, nearly 40% of the members of the Seaford Fire Department are EMT’s, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AMT’s) or Paramedics!
