Seaford Fire Department Provides Outstanding Ambulance Services
Since 1900 the volunteer members of the Seaford Fire Department have provided fire and ambulance services to the residents of the Seaford Fire District.
Do you know that if you dial 911 and a Nassau County Police Ambulance treats you or a family member, you will receive a bill for their services? Thats right. Not only do you pay taxes to the NCPD but they will also charge you for using their ambulance. The fee can be $500 and up.
The Seaford Fire has never and will never charge a fee for any of their services to the residents of the Seaford Fire District. We have two state of the art ambulances and many members trained in Basic and Advanced Life Support operations. The same treatment the NCPD offers but free of charge. In fact, an EMT or AMT from the Seaford Fire Department may be as close as next door to your home ready to help you or your family member at a moments notice.
Residents of the Seaford Fire District are urged to call our emergency phone number; 221-4300 for any fire or medical emergency. This will put in direct contact with our dispatcher and will help to speed our response. If you have any questions please contact the Seaford Chiefs office at 785-7153.
