New Ambulance Placed in Service
The Seaford Fire Department has placed a 2007 Horton ambulance into service to serve the community of Seaford. The new ambulance, designated 685, replaces a 1993 ambulance that was beginning to show signs of its age. The new ambulance was purchased from EVI. It was used as their demo unit. The Seaford Fire District was able to get more for the tax payers money by purchasing a demo unit instead of a custom ambulance. It is expected the ambulance will serve the community for the next 15 years.
